Welcome to the Looking Glass Loft! We are located on the historic Thomas Lee Donation Land Claim in Clackamas County, Oregon.
We are spinners & knitters and to this end we raise German & German Hybrid Angora Rabbits, a heavy wool guard llama and a few long wool sheep. We also enjoy our Black Copper, Blue, Splash, cuckoo & golden cuckoo maran chickens a few guinea fowl. We enjoy crafting our own soaps & cheeses and to that end we raise a small herd of milk goats . We also enjoy family history and vintage photographs. This website will share some of our passions.
FARM NEWS:
We've taken our first batches of fiber to the Fiber Mill and will have Gotland/mohair/angora fingering weight, Gotland/angora/mohair DK weight and Gotland/mohair DK weight yarn available in the spring!
Our goats are milking and there is milk, buttermilk, cottage cheese, cranberry chevre cheese and fromage blanc cheese.
Our chickens are taking their winter break and eggs are scarce!
Lambs and kids are expected beginning in March 2012!
